Job Description

University Health Network is seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to join our team in the Life Sciences department. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and compiling operational or experimental data, as well as compiling records and interpreting experimental or analytical results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and compile operational or experimental data, and conduct data manipulation and analysis.
  2. Record Keeping: Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results.
  3. Technical Support: Provide technical support for laboratory operations, including tissue and cell culture, biochemical and molecular techniques, and gene sequencing and cloning.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Skills: Data manipulation and analysis, laboratory techniques, and technical writing.
Work Environment

The Research Technician will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with a team of scientists and researchers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
