Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and effective use of our vaccines and respiratory products through impactful scientific interactions and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scientific peer-to-peer relationships with key external experts in the field of vaccines and respiratory medicine.
  • Provide credible scientific clinical information about our products to healthcare professionals, external experts, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with field partners to identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the territory.
  • Represent GSK at scientific congresses and provide session/abstract coverage, booth staffing coverage, and external expert engagement plans.
  • Provide scientific training for GSK sales representatives regarding our products and the conditions they treat.
  • Assist the medical, clinical, and HEOR teams with Investigator Initiated Studies and real-world evidence projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Advanced post-graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Exceptional aptitude to apply and leverage scientific and medical data with scientific credibility.
  • Excellent public speaker with outstanding scientific presentation skills.
  • Strong demonstration of strategic mindset in developing and executing comprehensive territory plans.
  • Knowledge of regulations governing medical information exchange with healthcare professionals in the Canadian pharmaceutical environment.
