Job Overview

Estimated Salary: $45-$60 per hour

Please note that the salary range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Apply sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent care delivery in assigned areas.
  • Ensure timely admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe transfers/discharge processes.
  • Manage medication supplies, adhere to protocols, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to meet residents' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Current immunizations for MMRV and negative TB skin test within one year.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts (8-12 hours) and 'float' between units as needed.
  • Reliability and adherence to RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
