Job Summary:

At CANADA INC, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintain financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Tight deadlines

Working Conditions:
