Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Teltonika IOT Solutions Canada Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and prepare sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software and conduct sales transactions through electronic commerce
  • Provide input into product design and tailor goods or services to suit client needs
  • Provide ongoing support to clients after sale or signed contracts
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Resolve product and service-related problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Provide customer service and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Urban area work setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Accounting software experience
  • Electronic mail and word processing software skills
  • Criminal record check
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
