General/Anatomic Pathologist Role

Alberta Precision Laboratories, a leading healthcare organization in Canada, is seeking an experienced General or Anatomic Pathologist for a full-time position at our Diagnostic and Scientific Centre (DSC) location in Calgary, Alberta.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals, contributing to the delivery of high-quality laboratory services to the community. As a key member of our pathology department, you will be responsible for performing surgical pathology and dermatopathology duties, ensuring excellent standards of practice and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of service delivery, adhering to established key performance indicators and provincial metrics.
  • Participate actively in quality assurance and quality improvement programs to drive excellence in patient care.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Balance service and quality imperatives in a resource-sensitive environment, prioritizing patient needs while optimizing operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a Canadian Fellowship in Anatomic or General Pathology and qualify for licensure in Alberta.
  • Fellowship experience in dermatopathology or cytopathology is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to contribute to the group practice and laboratory operations.
