Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at 0841076 BC Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and create menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that they are presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
