Job DescriptionThis exciting role involves working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on weekends, providing quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a compassionate attitude.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily tasks following established procedures and standards of practice.
- Participate in implementing organizational goals and objectives.
- Document resident information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Administer medications according to care plans and MAR documents.
- Communicate effectively with family members and other healthcare providers.
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.
- Pharmacology course completion or basic LPN program requirement.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Experience working with seniors an asset.
- Able to work well under pressure and make informed decisions.
