Job Summary

Boston Pizza is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and a strong passion for creating delicious meals.

Responsibilities
  • Cooking and Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain an efficient and well-stocked kitchen.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Maintenance and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong cooking skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and leadership skills.
Benefits
  • Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
