Job Summary

The Executive Director will serve as the chief leader and spokesperson, guiding the organization toward achieving its mission of providing compassionate support to individuals facing death, grief, and caregiving challenges. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this role oversees all aspects of the organization's operations, from program development and execution to financial management, fundraising, and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan in alignment with the mission, vision, and values.
  • Board Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the organization, ensuring transparent communication and effective governance.
  • Program Development: Oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all programs and services to ensure they meet community needs and align with organizational goals.
  • Innovation and Partnerships: Foster innovation in service delivery, ensuring programs remain adaptive and impactful for individuals facing death, grief, and caregiving challenges.
  • Fundraising and Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and funders, including government agencies and health organizations, to secure sustainable funding and diversify revenue streams.
Qualifications:
  • A post-secondary education in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience in non-profit and/or healthcare, and/or fund development are considered a strong asset.

Compensation Package

We estimate an annual salary range of $120,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including [insert benefits].
