We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to join our team at Monte Household.

About the Job

The successful candidate will provide top-notch care and support to children in a loving and safe environment. This is a permanent position, requiring 30-40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, considering dietary requirements and allergies
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting positive habits and self-esteem
  • Engage in activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development, such as reading, singing, and outdoor play
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a tidy and organized living space
  • Establish a daily routine that balances structure and flexibility, accommodating individual needs and preferences
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on daily activities, meal times, and any notable events or milestones
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate from a recognized educational institution (1-2 years)
  • Equivalent experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively
