  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling staff and managing inventory.
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure that all services are delivered to a high standard.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the workplace is safe and healthy.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our food services.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food services management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals.
