Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Killam Apartment REIT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential properties in Edmonton, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fitting and installing trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware;
Maintain, repair, and renovate residences;
Conduct general maintenance and/or painting;
Utilize knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, and other relevant skills;
Refinish floors, including handling sanding equipment;
Participate in on-call rotation, approximately every 8-9 weeks;
Assist with snow removal during winter months;
Perform all other duties as required.

Requirements:

3-5 years' experience in a similar role;
Ability to work as a team and under minimal supervision;
Effective, proven skills and experience;
Renovations experience an asset;
Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience an asset;
Possession of a valid Alberta driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
