West Coast Mobile Diesel Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

About the Job

We are looking for a qualified professional to work with our diesel engines, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with diesel engines, and be knowledgeable about various repair techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine tasks
  • Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, using diagnostic tools and equipment as needed
  • Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, providing clear and concise information

This is a permanent position, with 32-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g. automotive technology)
  • At least one year of experience working with diesel engines
  • Knowledge of various repair techniques and procedures
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
