The Ridge Hotel & Suites is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As an Executive Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will also demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff. Additionally, you will prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions. You will also train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent experience
