At Agilus Work Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Climate Control Specialist to join our team.

With a strong focus on efficient and safe operation, this role will involve performing routine operational and maintenance tasks for our facility. This includes monitoring equipment, making adjustments and reporting on performance, as well as cleaning, repairing, and maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems, holding certifications such as 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic. A valid G Driver's License and ability to work overtime are also essential requirements.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, a 401(k) matching program, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and overhaul environmental control equipment such as condenser units, pumps, air handlers, heat exchangers, dehumidifiers, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to control areas within specifications (35%, 10% and 1% relative humidity zones).
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for environmental control systems.
  • Assist in training apprentices and new equipment specification review and support, including commissioning checks and risk assessments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC experience.
  • 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic certification.
  • A valid G Driver's License, with a clean abstract.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Requirements:

  • TSSA Gas Technician 2 (Gas 1 is an asset).
  • ODP certificate.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
