Veterinary Care Professional
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Lawrence Veterinary Clinic.
As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients. Your expertise in animal handling, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and pharmacy procedures will be invaluable in ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and skilled patient care under the supervision of our veterinarians.
- Conduct physical examinations, patient assessments, and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparation, assisting, and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote client education and engagement.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of exceptional patient care.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a 2-year Veterinary Technician program diploma and be eligible to register with OAVT. Preparing to write your VTNE? We can help. New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy are welcome to apply. Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery experience is also essential. Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records and compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents are key attributes required for this position.
