About the Job

Ontario Public Service is seeking an experienced administrative clerk to join their team. This role involves providing high-quality support services to clients and the public, while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents accurately and securely.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
  • Provide general information to clients and the public, responding to their queries and concerns in a helpful and respectful manner.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients feel valued and supported throughout their interactions with our office.
  • Label, file, and retrieve documents as needed, maintaining organized and easily accessible records.
  • Organize and schedule office work, prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines with ease.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

Benefits
