Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in a full-time and permanent capacity. This role will be based out of our Head Office in Liberty Village and offer candidates the flexibility to work a hybrid model, with 2 days in-office and 3 days work-from-home.

About the Role

This position involves leading packaging creation for new product development, commercial expansion, and brand enhancements. You will maintain regulatory compliance for all DECIEM packaging in all markets, review and manage website text, and support enhanced website compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead packaging creation for new product development, commercial expansion, and brand enhancements.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance for all DECIEM packaging in all markets.
  • Review and manage website text for existing products (ingredient lists, directions, warnings, and marketing information).
  • Support review and implementation of enhanced website compliance (claims and other regulatory information).
  • Review internal and external marketing language (technical communications, marketing materials, and training tools).
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
Extended Producer Responsibilities
  • Manage global extended producer responsibilities including the submission of reports and payment of fees.
  • Support sustainability initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Understanding of cosmetic, NHP, and OTC packaging requirements.
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant education in Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
