Job Title: Bookkeeping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at HR Immigration Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
