Job Overview

The University of Manitoba Business School Foundation is a dynamic organization that bridges the gap between the business community, faculty, and students. As an Event Coordinator and Administrative Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the foundation's mission to expand business and grow the economy in Manitoba.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate up to 35 events and 25 committee meetings per year, ensuring seamless execution and high corporate professionalism.
  • Support membership boards and committees with administrative tasks, financial documentation reporting, and membership database management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in event, project management, and delivery, preferably in a membership-based organization or foundation.
  • Proficiency with member and event registration, accounting processes, and software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and diplomacy to work collaboratively within a diverse environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, InDesign, Publisher, database, and website maintenance (WordPress) and various social media platforms.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with a high-level volunteer committee and students, develop their leadership skills, and contribute to the growth of the business community in Manitoba.
