About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mills Memorial Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nursing Professionals. You will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing healthcare needs.
About Our Hospital
Mills Memorial Hospital is a fully accredited 44-bed Acute Care facility that receives an average of 24,700 ER visits per year. Our hospital offers a range of services, including a 10-bed Psychiatric unit, 3 surgical suites, and 3 ICU beds. We also provide Extensive Day Care service and Community Cancer clinic, as well as Community-based programs such as Chronic disease management, Meals on wheels, and Diagnostic and specialist center. A new hospital is opening soon in Terrace, a thriving community in northern British Columbia.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. You must also have current CPR certification and three years of recent related experience in an acute surgical or critical care setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the skills and abilities outlined in our job description, including assessment and intervention, communication, critical thinking, human caring and relationship-centered practice, teaching, management, leadership, and knowledge integration.
