Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at East Izakaya. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Japanese cuisine and wants to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head chef with meal preparation, special events, and kitchen inventory management.
  • Prepare complete meals, cook individual dishes, and cater to customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Maintain cleanliness and quality standards in the kitchen and food service areas.
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety standards.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be working in a dynamic restaurant environment with a focus on Japanese cuisine specialties.

Physical and Work Conditions

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Compensation and Benefits
