Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Store Clerk to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management.
  • Assist in the display of merchandise to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control and provide regular reports to management.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, and ensure that all items are properly priced and displayed.
Work Environment

As a Department Store Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Additional Information
