Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Booth University College. As the primary contact for marketing and communications efforts, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that align with the institution's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with various departments to identify communication and marketing requirements, develop ideas, options, and costs for presentation, and implement identified strategies.
  • Content Creation: Research, write, and edit clear, concise, and engaging copy for various formats, including social media, website, newsletter, magazine, press releases.
  • Marketing Materials: Create, maintain, and evaluate new and existing marketing and communications materials and activities related to print and digital advertising, email marketing, and public relations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop effective relationships with external service providers to ensure successful marketing initiatives.
  • Social Media Management: Create content and optimize all social media strategies, including oversight of student council social media.
  • Crisis Communications: Advise on crisis communications as needed.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: Satisfactory criminal record check required.
  • Faith Integration: Fully supportive of the integration of faith and learning in a Christian university-level setting and a commitment to the Mission of Booth University College.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree or diploma in Marketing or Creative Communications (equivalent experience considered).
  • Experience: At least three years of strong and varied marketing and communications experience.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills, solid knowledge of social media, website trends, and analytics.
Preferred Skills/Capabilities
  • Graphic Design Experience: Graphic design experience preferred.
  • Photography Skills: Photography skills preferred.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
