About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our Trademark Homes team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every floor is perfectly prepared and finished to meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for a flawless installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a stable foundation.
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to meet the needs of our project managers.
  • Install a range of flooring materials, including carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of our work.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Prepare floors for installation by cleaning, repairing, and leveling surfaces as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
