Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor II to join our team at CMA CGM. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our international transportation and brokerage operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide proactive customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain performance statistics and metrics to ensure that our operations are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all operations are in compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customs officials, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of four years of related experience and one year of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Experience: Three years of industry experience, with a proven track record of success in logistics operations and management.
