Salary

We offer an attractive salary package consisting of a monthly base salary of $120,000, plus a 25% bonus on top of the base salary. Additionally, you will receive a benefits supplement, which increases over time, reaching up to 35% of your base salary after 12 years of service.


Job Description

In this role, you will manage the unconventional portfolio through technical, risk, resource, and commerciality assessments, as well as strategic plans to support the de-risking of unconventional fields from exploration to development. Your primary focus will be on managing the portfolio within the Unconventional Resource Assessment and Data Solution Division (URADSD) and the Unconventional Resource Exploration and Characterization Department (URECD).


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geological technical assessments of resource plays to ensure productivity and identify potential risks.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to de-risk unconventional fields, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Exploration & Characterization Divisions to support planning and execution of wells, ensuring optimal results.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical peers and management through presentations and written reports.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related sciences.
  • At least 15 years of experience in unconventional plays, including shale or tight gas exploration, development, or strategic planning.
  • Proven expertise in risk and resource evaluation, ranking, and strategic planning for unconventional field development projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
