Job Summary:


CB Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Coordinator. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

About the Role:


This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:30. The hourly rate is $16.50, with an additional $0.75 premium for work performed after 18:00.

The work location is 7207 Henri-Bourassa Ouest, St-Laurent.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track shipments, including reservation, pickup, and delivery of goods, as well as monitoring transportation, documentation, insurance, and accounting.
  • Advise clients on procedures for air and land transportation, international regulations, and customs clearance.
  • Obtain and produce relevant information (overseas, consulates, government agencies, etc.).
  • Organize transportation and documentation with carriers.
  • Produce accurate and timely information and documentation.
  • Familiarize yourself with compliance measures established by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Transport Canada.
  • Enter data into the company's internal database for all shipment details.
  • Create maritime documents with the freight forwarder and airline.
  • Ensure all files are closed within the established deadlines by the company.
  • General administrative tasks.

Performance Metrics:

  • Number of shipments and profit per transaction.
  • No errors in data entry and information processing.
  • Precise cost evaluation and invoicing within a reasonable timeframe for closing files.
  • All department operations and requirements must be handled with the goal of improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
  • Knowledge of air transportation is an asset.
