Prowest Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Installer Helper to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical materials, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
- Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment and tools are in good working order.
- Assist in the removal of rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Work will be performed in a construction environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
