Nursing Care Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at Romko Residences LTD. As a Nursing Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as needed
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients, as well as transport them between care facilities
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
Work Environment:

As a Nursing Care Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and be required to perform repetitive tasks. You must be physically demanding and able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
