Job Summary

JAKU CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
Work Environment

The Construction Project Manager will work in a fast-paced construction environment with exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor conditions.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction management
