Leadership Opportunity in Equipment Maintenance

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the maintenance of our equipment and buildings at our Valcourt, QC facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of general supervisors and maintenance planning team leaders in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals in executing maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Coach and develop team members to ensure best practices are followed and sound management of building and grounds equipment is maintained.
  • Collaborate with various department heads to align maintenance services with business objectives.
  • Establish a long-term strategic vision for maintenance services that adapts to changing business needs.
  • Monitor performance indicators and update the scorecard to measure progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in industrial engineering or industrial maintenance technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, SAP, and Guide Ti.
  • Strong knowledge of plant and building maintenance principles.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and French, both verbally and in writing.
