Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Horizon Health Network in beautiful New Brunswick. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced physician to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Emergency Medicine Physician in a similar role. A valid license to practice medicine in New Brunswick through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB), ATLS, and ACLS Certification are required. Written and spoken competence in English is also necessary, with bilingual skills considered an asset.
As an Emergency Medicine Physician at Horizon Health Network, you will be responsible for providing emergency-centered care to all age groups and genders presenting to the emergency room. You will work collaboratively with other physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and allied medical staff to ensure safe and quality patient care.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will participate in Medical Staff and Hospital Committees as required. You will also contribute to medical practices that align with the Health Authority's mission, values, and strategic directions.
We offer a competitive salary, paid time off, sick benefits, employer-paid contributions into our government pension plan, and a remote work policy. Our recruitment incentive includes a $50,000 bonus for a 2-year return of service and a rural recruitment incentive of $100,000 for a 4-year return of service. We also provide relocation assistance of up to $8,000 and reimbursement for registration and travel costs related to continuing medical education.
