At Mucho Burrito, we are seeking an experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a high-performing team of food service staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • This is a full-time position with 35-40 hours of work per week.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining quality control standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 food service staff members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer experiences.
  2. Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  3. Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
  4. Hire, train, and develop food service staff to meet the needs of the restaurant.
  5. Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance.

You must have knowledge of culinary genres and be able to create menus that appeal to a diverse customer base. You should also be able to establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
