Digital Transformation Lead

We are seeking a skilled Digital Transformation Lead to join our team at Astellas Pharma Canada. This role is responsible for driving digital initiatives forward in our agile organization, leveraging expertise in Veeva Vault R&D.

Job DescriptionThis is a remote position based in Ontario, Canada, offering a hybrid working solution that allows time to connect with colleagues at the office while also working from home. As a Digital Transformation Lead, you will be a crucial player in maximizing value delivered by agile teams to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Champion agile methodologies within the organization, promoting best practices and adherence to agile principles across teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between agile teams and external stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and achievements effectively.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align agile team efforts with long-term business objectives, contributing to the product roadmap and release planning.
- Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts to analyze team processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality.
- Proactively identify and address risks that could impact the delivery of value, working with teams and stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- An advanced degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
- Excellent project management abilities, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and demonstrated experience working with business to define Epics/user stories/features.
- Present technical solutions based on the business requirement of the Veeva system, supporting technical upgrades on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain and report any issues, communicate effectively to all stakeholders during project/enhancement phases, service disruptions, and during technical upgrades.
While not required, we welcome candidates with:
- Demonstrated experience with Veeva Vault Clinical/Regulatory (3-5 years).
- Agile Champion: Adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
