Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic procedures and therapies. You will work under the remote supervision of the Manager and collaborate with the team to ensure the highest quality care is provided to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and hold certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). They will also be licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) and possess Basic Life Support Certification. Additional qualifications include competence in handling hazardous materials and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a professional manner.
In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $34.24-$39.96 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
