We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Compassionate Patient Support Associate to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.



About the Opportunity


This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care services in Winnipeg. As a Compassionate Patient Support Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with daily care needs and providing basic supportive care as directed by healthcare professionals.



Key Responsibilities



  • Assist patients/residents with daily care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families;
  • Participate in activities that promote patient engagement and well-being;
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy protocols;
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.


Requirements



  • A Grade 12 education or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 4 years of recent patient care experience, or equivalent;
  • A Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized college/educational institution;
  • CPR training and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
