Compensation Package

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per year, with opportunities for performance-based incentive pay. Additionally, relocation assistance and incentives may be considered.

Job Description

As a Senior Wealth Advisor at Servus Credit Union, your primary goal will be to provide superior, personalized advice-based service to our high net-worth members. You will deliver the full financial planning experience by implementing the CFP's six steps of financial planning, including discovery, gathering data, analysis, presentation of the financial plan, implementation, and ongoing monitoring. This role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial planning and investment industry developments through training programs and industry courses.

You will build a financial planning practice with a member-centric focus, leveraging tools such as all financial service considerations and building a network of Servus partners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress towards personal and corporate goals, including growth of the book of business, revenue, asset gathering, retention of assets, sales/ renewals of solutions, insurance, member segmentation, and referrals to internal partners
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience within the wealth industry, including securities and compliance. You will also need thorough knowledge of financial planning, products, policies, procedures, and operations. Required education/certificates include a Financial Planning designation (CFP), Canadian Securities Course & CPH, Conduct and Practices, Life License, and IIROC license.
