Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Lions Gate Hospital. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to provide supportive care to patients with physical and cognitive disabilities.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist occupational therapists and physiotherapists with patient assessments, goal setting, and treatment planning.
  • Provide daily living support to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Assist with rehabilitation programs, including exercise therapy and range of motion exercises.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:


The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A diploma in a related field, such as occupational therapy or physiotherapy, and relevant experience in a healthcare setting are required.
