Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling Tommy Hilfiger merchandise through the execution of the TH Customer Service Standards. This role also involves performing various operational activities as assigned by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide TH Customer Service to company standard.
  • Ensure merchandise is replenished to appropriate levels on the sales floor.
  • Maintain a visually distinctive and well-maintained store environment.
  • Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures.
  • Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and results.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with the TH Customer Service standards.
  • Build a repeat customer base through excellent service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
  • Effectively maintain zone coverage and prioritize customer interactions.

Personal Qualities:

  • Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrate a professional image and conduct.
  • Be flexible to work rotating hours as assigned by management.
  • Communicate concerns to management.
  • Maintain respect among peers, staff, and supervisors.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor the sales floor and stockroom for loss prevention and report any unusual activity to management.
  • Execute Opening and Closing checklist duties as directed by store management.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Merchandising & Visual Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent and accurate replenishment of product onto the sales floor.
  • Comply with visual presentation standards.
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain store organization, fixtures, hardware, and general cleanliness.
