Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Director to join our team at Nurse on Wheels Inc. in a permanent full-time capacity, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of the establishment, ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing New Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluating Existing Procedures: Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes.
  • Delegating Tasks: Delegate tasks and responsibilities to office support staff, ensuring that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Establishing Work Priorities: Establish clear work priorities and ensure that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinating Office Services: Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assisting with Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Preparing Reports: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Performing Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks as required.
  • Overseeing Administrative Procedures: Oversee and coordinate all administrative procedures, ensuring that they are followed correctly.
  • Resolving Conflict Situations: Resolve conflict situations in a fair and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and attention to detail are required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, adaptability, integrity, and teamwork are essential.

Nurse on Wheels Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
