Job Description

ROUTE GO LOGISTICS LTD. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as complete necessary documentation, such as bills of lading and driver logbooks.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in long-haul trucking is an asset.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
