Brandt is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of Public Affairs. This position will be responsible for leveraging their expertise in media relations, government relations, and community engagement to drive corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media landscape and be able to build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to maximize the organization's impact in the communities it serves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Building strong relationships with media outlets and developing a media strategy to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Government Relations: Staying informed of current and future government policy and working with internal stakeholders to respond.
  • Sponsorship & Community Engagement: Developing and managing a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to maximize the organization's impact in the communities it serves.
  • Internal Communications: Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and developing strategies to create and distribute stronger internal communication tactics.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a PR, Communications or Media role.
  • University degree in an applicable field.
  • Leading skills in communication (written and verbal).
  • Team-oriented and willing to collaborate with specialized groups in content creation.
