Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Tryon Engineering Inc. The successful candidate will assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations, and prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engineering specifications and drawings to support construction projects
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations to ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to inform project decisions
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings to support project development
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
