Job Opportunity

NTT DATA Services is seeking a skilled Java /VBA Developer (Onsite) to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain multiple applications using Java and VBA programming languages.

• Collaborate with the team to design and document applications and functions.

• Participate in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes.

• Communicate technical direction to the business and within the customer's IT organization.

• Advise on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability, and multiple platforms.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in Java/JEE-Core Java development


• Understanding of at least one other programming language (such as VB, C++, C#)

• Knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications.

• Knowledge of application configuration, maintenance, and support.

• Understanding of SQL

• Ability to troubleshoot program errors and apply a broad knowledge of application programming and design.

• General understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs.
