Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Manager to join our team at Designer Brands. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, and goals.
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement operational excellence, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective problem-solving strategies.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop top talent who share our passion for shoes and commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Implement agile business plans to drive results and enhance our brand image, while modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
Qualifications:
  • Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory roles.
  • Availability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
