Job Title: Research Coordinator

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled Research Coordinator to support a 5-year research study focused on youth and adolescents with mental health multimorbidity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate recruitment, characterization, and retention of participants in a longitudinal research study
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, including scheduling participant interviews, administering structured diagnostic interviews and clinical scales, and maintaining participant records
  • Prepare data for progress reports, research grant applications, presentations, and peer-reviewed research papers
  • Support the scheduling of research study visits and facilitate training of other staff and research trainees on study procedures
  • Prepare Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions, develop and harmonize standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assist with contracts and agreements
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Two years of experience with research studies targeted towards youth, young adults, and/or families experiencing mental health challenges
  • Extensive experience providing research administrative support, problem-solving, and coordinating quantitative data collection
  • Experience coordinating large-scale or multi-site studies, and working on longitudinal complex studies
  • Previous experience in recruiting, screening, and completing the informed consent process with research participants
  • Extensive previous experience in administration of neuropsychological assessments, structured diagnostic interviewing, clinical rating scales, and neurocognitive assessments
  • Previous experience preparing REB submissions, amendments, and renewals
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language

Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
