About the Job

Astra Concrete Ltd. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • You must be a team player with good dependability and communication skills.
