Shift Manager

Pita Pit Blue Mountain is seeking a skilled Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient work schedules to meet customer demand and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have everything needed to meet customer demand.
- Address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions and improve our operations.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into our performance and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that all orders are accurate and presented to the highest standard.
- Establish work schedules that meet the needs of our customers and our staff.
Supervision: 5-10 people
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
